Salon Creators is the brain child of Michael and Mackenzie Carr. Their vision for a company that offers everything necessary to open a beauty salon, was brought to fruition in January of 1998. Michael's roots began in the glass and mirror industry more than twenty years ago. His special talent for creating something out of nothing is evident with his one-of-a kind salon interiors as well as his mirror creations.

With more than twenty-five years experience in the Beauty Salon industry. Michael and Mackenzie owned and operated "A Virtuous Woman" Salon in New Jersey. While Michael has been the owner of three salons and has been building them more than twenty-five years. He has owned two salons in the city of Philadelphia, Chez Cherie and MAC Hair Design. He currently owns MAC Hair and Spa in Portsmouth, Virginia. Michael has his roots in the glass and mirror business, which began in New York City as a teenager. He was the proprietor of two glass and mirror showrooms one in Pennsylvania the other in New Jersey.

He has done work for Creative Salons of Brooklyn and Mr. B's of New York. Michael has constructed and remodeled more than sixty beauty salons in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia. He has done small salons, home-based salons, and huge ten to twelve station salons. He has done entire projects from start to finish. Lately, Michael's expertise has put him in great demand in New Jersey, Florida, Virginia, Maryland, Georgia, North Carolina and Delaware.

Michael continues to serve as a model for others. Currently he is opening a Restaurant, and also a 24-hour Day Care Center in Portsmouth, Virginia. He will show you the way by leading, directing, and advising you in the basics of getting your salon open and generating an income.
